Apex: Taking it on the Road



Dear Hiring Manager:

We all have staffing problems from time-to-time.  Given the shortages in many healthcare fields today, there are times when therapists are simply not available.  Apex Staffing provides both permanent staff as well as PRN and travel staff services. Our standard contracts include both services and we always work on a contingency basis. If we don't find you the ideal candidate, you incur no costs. We understand that permanent staff is best for continuity of care and fiscal responsibility, and we maintain every effort to deliver candidates ready to fill your positions on a permanent basis.  However, we also understand that travel staff provides solutions when periodic needs increase.  The bottom line is we will work to fill your staffing need in a way that benefits you in the best way possible. Apex Staffing provides perm and traveling Allied Health professionals including Physical Therapists and assistants, Occupational Therapists and assistants and Speech Language Pathologists to Hospitals, Rehab Hospitals, LTACHs, Outpatient Clinics, Nursing Homes, Contract Rehabilitation Companies and schools. We currently supply staff in all 50 states.  By focusing on a select group of disciplines, we ensure the highest quality and standard during our selection process.  All candidates are prescreened and interviewed before they are referred to a facility for an open position.

The following is a list of terms associated with our travel staffing agreement:

  • 4-26 week assignments (four week minimum)
  • Fulltime work (40 hours per week)
  • We secure housing and travel services for each traveler contracted.
  • We can negotiate a reduced fee if housing is provided by the client.
  • Our Travel Clinicians are employees of Apex Staffing with Workers Compensation and Liability Insurance.
  • Fees include all housing and travel expenses in one easy to understand hourly rate.
  • Our Travel Staff have completed policies regarding HIPAA regulations, blood borne pathogens and have passed required background checks, references, health exams, drug testing and CPR certification prior to placement.
We know what effort the hiring process requires, therefore, we would like to make sure your hiring decisions are given the time and consideration required.  The Client is always in control when selecting a permanent or travel therapist we present and we insist that our clients interview each therapist to ensure a good fit prior to placement.  In order to better serve our clients, our standard contract includes a buy out provision in the event you want to make an offer to our travel Staff.  You have our commitment to work diligently to always find the best therapist for your facility’s current needs allowing you the freedom to focus on providing the best patient care possible.  We hope that this is only the beginning of a long and prosperous partnership, of which we will both grow to benefit one another.  Please feel free to contact me to discuss our staffing options further.
